About This Site and Site Build It

I'd like to tell you about this site and my journey with Site Build It. It all started, because I love to surf the internet (my family says maybe too much, LOL). I also love to look for that next great thing--the one opportunity that is going to change my world. However, I am also the queen of researching and debunking “opportunities” and all those fantastic get rich quick (grq) schemes. Trust me, I’ve looked into so many of them that if I had earned a single dollar for each one, I probably wouldn’t need to work for many, many years to come.

I am fortunate that I love to do research; that’s what’s kept me from losing money like so many other people have. I can always find a place to punch a hole in any scam.

Yet, I’ve known for years that the internet would be the way for me to supplement, and maybe someday replace, my day job (maybe, I‘m luckier than most people--I actually like my day job). I’ve dallied in quite a few genuine areas online, such as judgment enforcement (not the least bit fun--and a little bit creepy, although I do enjoy the research skills I developed!), online auctions and drop shipping (I just didn’t stick to it--I couldn‘t decide on anything I was passionate about selling), tried to set up my own web store front to sell various items (for someone without web design experience it was a disaster--I did it, but it looked like a bored ten year old put it together). While they were all legitimate, I didn’t have enough support or direction from those offering these opportunities, nor did I have any real “YIPPEE” moments with them.

The change came one day when I fell into this really interesting site that offered me the chance to develop a website about anything I chose (huh, you‘re not telling me what to do or sell?). I wasn’t promised thousands of dollars overnight(hey where‘s my grq?). But, I was promised an amazing support network, all the back-end tools I could ever want or need, and a step by step plan for developing a website that would draw traffic (you gotta have traffic to earn money on the web, otherwise you might as well be outside drawing with sidewalk chalk, ‘cuz once that cloudburst hits, no one’s gonna see all your beautiful work). All I had to do was provide the BAM (brains and motivation--I‘ve got that!) and the information on any topic that I had a passion for. This site was called Site Build It or SBI.

I tried my best to find the weakness in Site Build It. I researched the company; I researched Dr. Evoy (SBI's founder); I researched other Site Build It owners; I researched some of the universities (yes, this program is offered in major universities) that teach this program. All I could find was an opportunity that had made so many people happy and successful--because they owned businesses that they are proud of. This pride comes from the genuine work and effort they put in, that helped them realize their dreams. No get rich quick scheme can give you that sense of personal satisfaction. I already feel it, and I’ve only just begun. At least this time I have a passion about what I’m doing--and thanks to all the tools and support SBI includes, it doesn’t look like a bored ten year-old put this site together! I finally found my “YIPPEE!!!”

No more sidewalk chalk for me and, while I’m off to do some more drawing with "permanent markers", I want you to check this out:
