Kansas City tourism a day at a time or a few hours at a time.

Kansas City tourism is a passion for me. However, instead of trying to see how much we can pack into a short time-frame, like we would on vacation, we have the luxury of making shorter, more frequent treks around town, at a little slower pace (hey, I‘m not getting any younger--don‘t laugh, ‘cuz you’re not either! LOL). I think we get to enjoy more of the cool little details. For those of you that have had a Disney World vacation, you know what I mean when I say, we get to discover more of the “hidden Mickey’s”.

Sometimes, we have a list of places that are related by topic or location, and we try to organize our outing that way.

Other times, we pick a starting point and then let the day unfold for us. This can be especially fun when we don’t have the stingy hands of time holding us back. My daughter would say that we are enjoying a little “randomness“, when we do it this way.

Again, use the info provided in whatever way is comfortable for you. I don’t want the phrase “Kansas City tourism” to unnerve you. It doesn’t have to conjure up visions of detailed itineraries, requiring scads of time or money. Although, if you have plenty of both, go for it!

Here we go:

Apple Picking Near Kansas City
Kansas City Factory Tours
The Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens
